I will be the first to admit that there is one Pokemon I have always struggled to find: Feebas. This mottled fish with a beautiful evolution is supposedly meant to spawn near water biomes, but many people have gone months (if not years) without spotting one. Fortunately, there are a few ways to increase your odds of finding a Shiny Feebas and, by extension, a Shiny Miltoic. Here is how to get a Shiny Milotic in Pokemon GO.
How to Get Shiny Milotic in Pokemon GO
Miltoic is one of the eligible Pokemon for the Love Cup and if you want to stunt in style, you’ve got to get the Shiny. Unfortunately, Feebas, Miltoic’s pre-evolved form, is not easy to come by. If you were lucky, you might have been able to snag one during the Luvdisc event. But if you missed it, like I did, then do not worry! There is still a way to get your hands on one.
Many trainers have recommended using Glacial Lures to get Feebas to spawn, as this Lure will attract Water- and Ice-Type Pokemon for up to thirty minutes. Another option is to hatch a 10km Egg and hope for the best. If you find these methods are not working for you, you can also get a Feebas by completing Field Research Tasks between February 1 to March 1, 1:00 p.m., PDT.
The task that Feebas is associated with is Hatch 2 Eggs. If you see this task and complete it, you are guaranteed to get a Feebas that has a chance to be Shiny. Fortunately, Feebas has a high chance of being Shiny at 1 in 56. Certainly, better than standard odds, which are 1 in 500!

Once you have a Shiny Feebas in your possession, you will want to evolve it. To do so, you will need 100 Feebas Candies. You should get around 75 for catching it if you found it using a Glacial Lure or during Field Research. You will also need to walk 20km with the Feebas you want to evolve. Beauty comes at high price.
But once all that is done, you will have your Shiny Miltoic!
