When you look in your list of beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll likely recognize a few from your adventures. Ones like Puffskeins, Jabberknolls and Mooncalves are pretty common, while others like unicorns and Graphorns are rare. The rarest of all, though, is the phoenix. There is only one phoenix in the game, meaning you can’t breed it or find it in a den! If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover where to find a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy.

Where to Find a Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy
There is only one opportunity to find a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy, which is part of a particular quest. As you progress through Deek’s quest line, you’ll learn how to rescue beasts with your Nab-Sack, growing your Vivariums and Room of Requirement along the way.
Eventually, you’ll encounter a mission named “Phoenix Rising”, asking you to, well, rescue a phoenix. This is easier said than done, though!

Throughout this quest, you’ll venture into Phoenix Mountain Cave, fighting poachers and making your way through the winding paths. The phoenix will fly around here and there, but you’ll have to make your way up to the mountain’s peak before catching it.
Once you reach the peak, the phoenix will sit on a rock formation, where you can use your Nab-Sack to rescue it!
Once you bring the phoenix back to the Room of Requirement and speak to Deek, a new Vivarium will open up, and the bird will automatically appear inside. From here, you can head inside and take care of your new fiery friend!
