Do you like popping heads, Guardian? Then do I have a somewhat decent gun for you. Tranquility is a legendary sniper rifle with an adaptive frame and it’s a gun that’s eluded many collections. Mostly because it was sunsetted. But it’s back now! So, here’s how to get Tranquility in Destiny 2.
How to Get Tranquility in Destiny 2
Tranquility is a gun that’s locked to the Moon and its Expansion, Shadowkeep. Complete the campaign, then stay on the moon. You’re going to want to defeat powerful enemies until one of them drops the quest Essence of Vanity. Powerful enemies are enemies with yellow-bar health or even enemies that are named. A great place to farm out this quest drop is Sorrow’s Harbor, as the Altars are always going and always spewing out Hive.

Once the quest drops, you’ll need to complete the following steps:
- Finish 50 activities (either Lost Sectors, Patrols, or Public Events) on the Moon.
- Kill 25 enemies with a sniper rifle.
- Possess the Horned Wreath from the Chamber of Night.
The Horned Wreath is the step that’s stumped many Guardians, as the quest doesn’t offer any hints as to where that might be. Fortunately, I’ve written up a guide on how to find it. Check it out below if you’re having trouble.

Once you find the Horned Wreath, return to the Lectern of Enchantment to turn in the quest. You’ll get the sniper rifle Tranquility for your trouble. But what’s its god roll?
