Plans to make a movie based on the much-loved PS2 adventure Shadow of the Colossus have been unveiled, so Deadline say.
Josh Trank, who recently rose to fame with his movie Chronicle, is said to adore the games and has taken on the role of director after seeking the project out himself.
There’s no hint yet as to who might star in the film, nor when it might arrive in cinemas, and Trank is currently on the lookout for someone to write the script.
For those who haven’t played this magical tale, it follows the story of a young man as he attempts to take down 16 giants in a bid to bring the girl he loves back to life.
The game was recently re-released in HD on PlayStation 3 to much critical acclaim.
