In Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, one of the most impressive parts is the newly-connected environments. It’s not a full-on open world, but many of the areas that were separated in the previous games can be walked through like real places. Of course that makes navigating these spaces take a lot longer than they would before. Luckily, Atelier Ryza 3 has a fast travel system that makes getting around in a hurry remain on the table. Here’s how to fast travel in Atelier Ryza 3.
Atelier Ryza 3: How to Fast Travel
First of all, you have to unlock fast travel. This doesn’t take very long of course, but it’s not available until you make that first bit of progress. Once you’ve started the “Senior Struggles” quest, you’ll get a little tutorial tip about Landmarks. While you’ve probably passed by a Landmark or two already, at this point, the game actually lets you use them.

If you press the “minus” button on the Switch or its equivalent elsewhere, you open up the world map. If you examine an area you’ll be able to see a total number of Landmarks, versus the number you’ve activated. And of course activation simply requires physical proximity. They’re the little gold towers on your map if that’s helpful. Anyway, you can fast travel to Landmarks if you’ve activated them previously. Simply click on them with the normal confirm button and you’ll get the option to shoot over instead of just dropping a marker.
Atelier Ryza 3’s bigger world and interconnected spaces make fast travel a necessity, which doesn’t happen often with Atelier games. Granted it’s kind of a semantics thing, since choosing areas in a menu is technically “fast” travel too, no? Whatever, it’s videogames we’re talkin’ about here.
