If you’re like me, you looked at Dead Island 2 and thought, yeah. That’s a good way to kill an afternoon. And then you bought it a day before it was released, thus making you eligible for the Memories of Banoi Pre-Order Bonus. But how do you cash in? Here’s how to claim the Memories of Banoi pre-order bonus in Dead Island 2.
Dead Island 2: How to Claim the Memories of Banoi Pre-Order Bonus
So, you’ve bought Dead Island 2 early! Me and you both, my gamer friends. But how do you grab that sweet loot, which consists of:
- Banoi War Club
- Banoi Baseball Bat
- Personal Space Skill Card
But if you’ve played a bit of the game… you’ll quickly realize your Slayer is completely unarmed. Just their bare, pathetic fists instead of some awesome blunt weaponry. And unfortunately, your Slayer will stay club and baseball bat-less until you (VERY EARLY SPOILERS) make it to Emma’s house in Bel-Air.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll have to do a few tasks, which may or may not be zombie related. But once that’s done, you’ll unlock your Skill Cards.
Personal Space will automatically be amongst the ones you can equip, and it will allow your kick and jump kick attacks to get a moderate boost to damage and force. Which is nice because when you start the game, you’re practically tapping your enemies with your toe. It pushes them back, but the damage? Nonexistent. Unless you have this card equipped.

As for the Banoi War Club and Banoi Baseball Bat, you’ll have to speak to Carlos in the kitchen of Emma’s house. He’s standing beside the Work Bench that unlocks once you’ve completed all essential tasks at Emma’s. Carlos is our resident merchant, and the Memories of Banoi weapons will be in his inventory for free.
But that’s not all Carlos has. Note that he’s also stocking quite a few good weapons and resources. But if you’re looking for something in particular, check out this cool trick: How to Restock Traders in Dead Island 2.
