Honkai: Star Rail has multiple currencies you can spend at various shops. While credits are the main one you’ll stockpile throughout your playthrough, you’ll also find ones for the Simulated Universe, in-game premium stores and even region-specific vendors. Strale is just one of many examples, but it’s just as important as any other. If you want to learn more, continue reading to discover how to get Strale in Honkai: Star Rail.
How to Get Strale in Honkai: Star Rail
Strale is a currency in Honkai: Star Rail that you’ll exclusively find in Xianzhou Luofu, the third region in the game. Throughout Xianzhou Luofu, you’ll find a ton of opportunities to get your hands on some Strale and use it to get valuable items.
With that said, below are the two main ways to get Strale:
- Opening treasure chests
- Completing missions
As you travel around Xianzhou Luofu, you’ll spot treasure chests that grant you Stellar Jades, Trailblaze EXP and, of course, Strale. While you only get around five Strale for each basic chest you open, they’ll add up over time as you open more and more treasure chests. You can easily get a few hundred Strale just by doing this!
The other way to get Strale is through completing Xianzhou Luofu missions. Unlike Jarilo-VI and Herta Space Station quests, Xianzhou Luofu missions give you Strale among regular rewards.

What Is Strale Used for in Honkai: Star Rail?
Strale is the currency you’ll need to purchase items from the Jeweler’s Pagoda in Central Starskiff Haven, Xianzhou Luofu. The products here range from four-star relics to Adventure Logs and a recipe. You can also get a Shadow of Preservation to increase your Trailblazer’s Eidolon level!
Using Strale at this shop also lets you receive spending rewards for extra Stellar Jades, Adventure Logs and even Star Rail Passes. Spending a bit of Strale here occasionally is worthwhile if you’re close to another gacha roll and need a few more tickets!
