Many PC gamers are passionate about pushing their computer’s performance to the limit and achieving the highest possible FPS in popular games. If you want to improve your frames-per-second, we’ll help you show your FPS in CS2.
How to See Your FPS in CS2
Right-click on CS2 in your Steam Library, hit Properties, then find General, where you’ll see Launch Options like in my screenshot below:
To enable FPS in-game, input +cl_showFPS 1 in the Launch Options field. That’s the basic function that will always appear in the top-left corner of your screen in-game and show you your current FPS. However, it may get in the way as it displays over your radar.
Alternatively, you can type in these commands in your console while you are in-game if your console is enabled.
Press ~
to open console and then type in: /cl_showFPS 1 (it works without the forward slash, too).
Is There a net_graph Command in CS2?
The command we all knew and loved (+net_graph 1) still exists, but it functions very differently than it used to. It no longer shows your FPS, ping, or packet loss. It’s just a line in the top-right corner that does not show FPS.
I still recommend that the net_graph command is turned on at all times, just so it will help you to figure out when you’re experiencing connection issues.
That’s it! Now you can see your FPS. You can also limit your FPS in CS2 according to your needs and your PC’s performance.
