In Amnesia: The Bunker, you’ll come across a Locker Room with numerous locked lockers that hold valuable loot, including ammunition and items. But, there’s a 4-digit code for each of the fallen soldier’s lockers that you must figure out first. You may have come here to get a complete list of locker padlock codes, though Frictional Games figured out a way how to stop people who want to skip ahead of time. However, not all hope is lost – I have some useful tips for you.
How to Unlock the Soldier Lockers in Amnesia: The Bunker
For each of the named lockers (and for some doors), you must find the respective Dog Tag. You can see what a Dog Tag looks like in-game in my screenshot below:
Each Dog Tag has either a 4-Digit code on the other side (you need to turn it around) or is completely blank. There is an achievement if you get them all. With the code, you can unlock the locker of the soldier whose Dog Tag you picked up, which is displayed on the front of the tag.

When you pick up a code, it’s automatically saved in the “Codes” section of your inventory. But, I’d advise you to pause the game and write down the code. Why? Because if you die before coming back to the bunker, you will spawn back in the bunker. The code won’t change, so this saves you the hassle of finding the tag again.
Each code is randomly generated at the start of your game, so there’s no way of finding a “master list” of codes online to assist you.
Where to Find Dog Tags in Amnesia: The Bunker
They are scattered around the Bunker: next to and on corpses of fallen soldiers, on tables, on beds… Everywhere. They glow when you’re close to them, so be on the lookout.
You will also notice that sometimes, rats will be gnawing on a fallen soldier and “guarding” the Dog Tag. To grab the tag, need to either scare them away or outright kill them. I wouldn’t recommend wasting ammo, but rather light up a torch or throw a flare to cause them to scurry back to their holes. Or you can toss a piece of meat near them, which will lure the rats away from the Dog Tag. Drats.
