How to Find the Peculiar Lamp in Baldur’s Gate 3
This secret passage is behind the portal, exactly opposite the door that will take you to the Annals of Krasus. It looks like a plain stone wall, but if you pass the perception check, you’ll find that there’s a button. Click the button and a door will open.
You can then follow the path straight to find the Red Knight’s Final Strategem. A book that, when interacted with, gives you the Scroll of Artistry of War.
But the Peculiar Lamp can be found by going through the wall behind the treasure chest in the entry hallway. There’s an invisible walkway which will let you walk right up to the chest, and then you can just walk right through the wall.
This hidden room will only contain one thing. The Peculiar Lamp.
How to Escape the Peculiar Lamp in Baldur’s Gate 3
Once you’ve interacted with the lamp, you’ll be transported inside of it. And there’s quite a lot of loot to be found! Plenty of camping supplies, potions, and elixirs. And while it can feel like a bit of a treasure chest, getting out is nigh impossible.
Unless you find someone to replace you.
Fortunately, finding a replacement is easy. Look inside the Gilded Chest to the right of the book “A little Djinni Ditty”. Inside will be a Scroll of Summon Quasit. Use it to summon a Quasit, and you’ll be promptly kicked out of the lamp.
The Quasit will then take your place. Sorry, buddy! If you have “Find Familiar” as a spell, you can also just use that and get immediately cast out of the Peculiar Lamp too.
While the treasure you may’ve gotten from this lamp was just so-so, did you know that the Djinn in the Circus in Rivington is actually guarding a Legendary Trident? And getting it is much easier than you might think.
