After you get through the first mission in Armored Core 6, you have some time to start building your personal AC in preparation for the HA-T-102 Juggernaut. This is the first true boss fight in AC6 where your skills and the parts on your Core will truly matter, so I’m here to give you some tips on how to beat the boss.
How to Defeat the HA-T-102 Juggernaut Boss in AC6
To beat the HA-T-102 Juggernaut, you need to deal all of your damage to the back side of the machine. You can reach the exposed back of the Juggernaut by floating above the boss and then dashing behind for a quick chance at unleashing all of your ammunition. The goal is to deal as much stagger damage as you can and then dump your high-damage attacks.
During the fight, you want to stay above or behind the boss. If you are in front of the Juggernaut or in a direct line of sight, you’re asking to blow up. The boss will continuously charge at you while launching as many rockets as it can muster. But if you stay in the air and aim for the exposed side, you can avoid nearly all attacks.
Tips To Beat the Juggernaut in Armored Core 6:
- Aim for the back side of the boss.
- Any damage to the front will ricochet and waste ammo.
- Float above or behind the boss to avoid damage and bypass the ricochet shield.
- Save your largest attacks for when the boss is staggered.
- Do not stand directly in front of the HA-T-102 Juggernaut.

In the first half of the boss fight, you will have an ally that keeps all the attention of the HA-T-102 Juggernaut. This is an easy opportunity to just hit the boss with easy attacks, so you don’t have to waste any of your ammo or repair kits. Once you reach the halfway point, though, your ally will leave, and it’s all up to you.
Any time the boss charges, just float above and try to fall behind the boss. Hit it with your close-range attacks and some missiles before going back in the air. You have tiny windows to deal damage before it turns around and starts blocking again. Simply rinse and repeat until the Juggernaut has fallen in AC6.
