Basim is a talented and strong assassin, but even the most powerful players in this game need to upgrade their gear every once in a while. As you scuttle through the streets and over the rooftops of Baghdad, you may find yourself encountering some less-than-savory characters who could be a fair bit more powerful than you are at this time. Knowing how to upgrade your sword, dagger, and armor as quickly as possible is important, so let’s get our sneaking suits on and find out how to make that happen easily.
How To Upgrade Your Items in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
As you make your way around the map, you’ll find that there are a variety of different icons available to you. You’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for the Blacksmith, the Tailor, and the Stable if you want to get a new mount. You can highlight the particular type of upgrade you’re hoping to do by pressing the “Place Marker” button at the bottom of the screen.
As you approach the Blacksmith for weapon upgrades or the Tailor for clothing upgrades, you’ll see a small icon appear over their head with a particular button to press. If you press this contextual action button, you’ll be brought into their inventory, where you can start to upgrade your items.
Depending on the piece of equipment you’re hoping to upgrade, you’ll need to ensure that you have all of the proper materials. You can obtain Ingots, Leathers, and Components by hitting up Loot Chests spread throughout the map, but you’ll need to find Gear Chests scattered throughout your missions to acquire the full blueprint for upgrades. You’ll find these large chests surrounded by enemies, so make sure your tools are up for the task to escape unscathed.
