Act 2 makes The Hunt, a crucial assignment, available. You and River work together to find Randy, which involves solving several puzzles and clues. It can take a while to figure out how to get to the laptop and complete the optional goal of getting Harris’s IP address. Where to Find Harris’s IP Address in Cyberpunk 2077
To get Harris’s IP Address during The Hunt side job, you need to have your Intelligence Attribute above 12, and the I Fought the Law side job must be completed before doing this mission.
When you talk to Joss regarding Randy by going to her place, you will then have to check the house for any clues that could help you find Randy. In doing so, you will find a key that unlocks a cupboard in the bedroom. After inspecting the primary bedroom, you will find a laptop under the bed. River will proceed to relocate the laptop to a nearby desk. He will then ask you if you can hack it or not.
If your Intelligence Attribute reaches a score of nine or higher, you will possess the ability to hack into the computer. If hacking is not an option, go to the record player outside the bedroom and turn it on. There, you will get the clue which is the password for the laptop, Liberum Arbitrium.
To achieve each of the goals of this quest, check the Messages and Files tabs on the laptop before proceeding to the Net tab. Once you’re there, click on the image to reveal three more links. When you click on the Files link, you should get the notification that ‘ATT_CART_VIDEO’ is missing from the website, so return to the Files tab on the laptop to find and watch it.
You’ll then be given the choice to collect Harris’s IP address, but you won’t be able to do so if your intelligence attribute is less than 12. If it is higher, you will get the “Definitely” dialogue option when talking to River. After that, complete the Breach Protocol, and you will get access to Harris’s IP Address. If you don’t have enough attribute points, the quest will still end with the same result; you just won’t be able to show off your hacking skills.
