What Is The “Error Running App, Logging into Account” Bug In Mortal Kombat Onslaught?

If you’re running into issues getting this RPG collectathon to launch, you’re not alone. Plenty of players seem to be running into this issue, especially if you take a look at the Mortal Kombat Onslaught Subreddit. However, a helpful commenter, u/DDavino333 has come up with something that may be the fix for this particular issue.

I Disabled GameCenter because I feel like that was the Account if was endlessly training to Log Into. True or not, it worked lol

If you’re hoping to log out of Game Center, a feature exclusive to iOS devices, you’ll want to follow these steps:

  • Open Settings on your iOS Device
  • Scroll down to Game Center
  • Tap your Apple ID
  • Tap Sign Out

This will, however, affect your Game Center login for other games, so be sure that you’re ready to lose out on some achievements while waiting for an official patch to fix this issue. If you find that this still hasn’t helped, or you’re playing on an Android device, there are a few other steps that you can take to hopefully get you back on track.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game could eliminate any pesky bugs you’re encountering, including this log-in issue. While it may not be the most time-efficient method, it will likely be the easiest way to bypass this issue if you’re still running into problems after logging out of Game Center. If you’re on an Android device, you could always clear the cache, which may get you into the game quicker than uninstalling and reinstalling.

The only other option that you have at this point is to wait for Warner Brothers and NetherRealm Studios to push out a patch that could resolve this issue once and for all. Sure, you may be a few days behind your peers if you go this route, but it will be the fix that officially fixes the problem once and for all. Keep an eye on your updates over the coming days to see if you’ll finally get the chance to jump back in.

Keep your eyes peeled on our Mortal Kombat Onslaught section below so you always know when it’s time for Kombat, even if you’re on the go. Thankfully, it seems that this version is working a little better than the Mortal Kombat 1 port on Nintendo Switch, so you’ll at least be able to enjoy your game on the go.
