In the wake of this week’s announcement of the new Dragonborn DLC for Xbox 360, many PlayStation 3 owners of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim had even more to be sore about, since they haven’t seen an ounce of the game’s stellar downloadable content to date. Considering the initial game has run into a number of problems on their platform, we’re guessing Bethesda is busy trying to sort those out first.
However, today we’re happy to report that there is hope. Bethesda Game Studios’ official Twitter account has posted the following: “We’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC.” Though it did not specify what content was coming to the system, it appears that they’re working with Sony on the problem.
It’s been a long time coming, as they first said in August that they were running into problems bringing the DLC to the system. “This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try and bring you this content,” they stated. Looks like they’re getting somewhere.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
