Bethsoft announced today that they will be bringing the Dragonborn DLC to PS3 and PC early in 2013. This announcement comes right before the release of Dragonborn on Xbox Live.

While this is wonderful news, it does pose a question about the status of the two previous DLC packs Dawnguard and Hearthfire for PS3. The company was non-committal in its comments to Eurogamer, but there’s reason to be positive in the long term.
“We think Dragonborn is our best add-on for Skyrim yet, and we didn’t want fans to wait long, so that’s our current focus. Each platform takes a lot of time and attention,” said Bethsoft, adding, “As noted in our blog post, we’re not done with content for Skyrim. When we’re ready to share more details, we’ll update everyone.”
