With a new season, comes new Pokemon debuts. This season trainers can participate in a Pokemon GO Raid Day which debuts Hisuian Samurott. You’ll want to get a group together to take this Raid Boss down or take advantage of Party Power. Here’s everything that you need to know.
Pokemon GO Hisuian Samurott Raid Day Event Details
It is exciting to see Pokemon from the past region of Hisui making an appearance in Pokemon GO. Whilst Hisuian Samurott is the first, Niantic have stated that we can expect to see more Hisuian Pokemon in the near future. But before that, Hisuian Samurott has its debut with a dedicated Raid Day.
Event Date and Time
The Pokemon GO Raid Day which features Hisuian Samurott will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Debut Pokemon
You may have guessed it, but Hisuian Samurott is the debut Pokemon. This is the first time that it will be able to be caught in-game and will be pathing the way for future Hisuian Pokemon. With that said, who knows when Hisuian Samurott will enter Raid rotation again, so it is best to catch it whilst you can by participating in the Raid Day.

Not only is Hisuian Samurott going to debut, but if RNG is on your side, you will potentially encounter its shiny form. Which with its color palette, rather looks like an elderly Hisuian Samurott.
Event Bonuses
The following Event Bonuses will be live for the duration of the Raid Day.
- Trainers will have an increased chance to encounter shiny Hisuian Samurott.
- Spinning Gyms will provide trainers with five additional Raid Passes.
- Trainers will be able to participate in more Remote Raids as the max number of Remote Raids one can participate in will be extended to 20 from Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 4:00 PM to Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 7:00 PM PST.
Event Ticket
Trainers can purchase a ticket to access additional bonuses for Hisuian Samurott Raid Day in Pokemon GO. It will cost $5 USD or the equivalent in your local currency. If purchased, you can expect to benefit from the following bonuses.
- Trainers will receive 50% more XP from Raid Days.
- Trainers will receive 2X Stardust from Raids.
- Trainers will have an increased chance to receive Rare Candy XL.
- Trainers can spin Gyms for an extra eight Raid Passes.
These ticketed benefits will be live on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time.
It’s exciting to think that we will soon be seeing a lot more Hisian Pokemon in Pokemon GO. Hisuian Samurott is an absolutely fantastic introduction to these regional Pokemon, first introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. With it being available for a limited time, it’s time to party up and catch as many as you can.
