As the toughest Pinnacle Dungeon in Diablo 4, you want to make sure that the Abattoir of Zir rewards are worth all the trouble. So far the loot seems to be standard but there are a couple of great incentives to run the Season of Blood end-game content.
Rewards for Beating the Abattoir of Zir in Diablo 4
The rewards for beating the Abattoir of Zir for the first time include the Tears of Blood Glyph and higher amounts of Glyph XP. As the rarest Glyph in the game, the Tears of Blood requires far more XP to level up compared to any others. To reach the max level for it, you will certainly want to continue going through Zir’s dungeon or else you will be grinding for days on end.
After you beat the Abattoir of Zir on Tier 1, your only true reward is the major boost to Glyph XP. The Tears of Blood Glyph is a one-time reward. So the incentive to continue to higher tiers is to earn more and more XP. You can also use the XP reward to level your other Glyphs, but if you beat the Diablo 4 Season Journey to get here, you likely don’t need to.
Abattoir of Zir Rewards:
- Tears of Blood Glyph – For every 5 Core Stats purchased within range, you gain X% damage.
- Substantially increased Glyph XP.
- Gear drops that are equivalent to drops around Nightmare Tier 100.
Of course, you can also utilize the Pinnacle Dungeon to earn more loot around level 900 or to find more Ancestral Legendary gear with decent Aspects. However, there is no guaranteed loot table for Unique items like the other end-game bosses have. In reality, your only real reward for the Abattoir of Zir is XP after your first run.
The Tears of Blood Glyph is still worth leveling up, so it’s not all a waste of time if you want more power. You get a flat damage boost for every five core stats purchased within range of the Glyph. At level 15, that radius increases, so earning as much XP as you can will provide a substantial damage boost.
If you are just getting started on this update, then make sure you grab a Bloodforged Sigil in Diablo 4.
