Village are the centerpiece to surviving in LEGO Fortnite, as they serve as the hub for all your resources. Villages can even be upgraded for more bonuses, but that requires increasing the village rating. Here’s how to increase your LEGO Fortnite village rating.
How to Upgrade Village Rating in LEGO Fortnite
Village rating can be increased by simply building more stuff within your village. This can include shelter, campfires, furniture, machines, and even small items like silverware.
While in the village, there is a meter in the upper right corner of the screen that will fill as you place more things down near the Village Square piece. When placing down any piece, players can see the edges of the village as a glowing ring to make sure they are still building within the village.
Once the village rating bar has been filled completely, players can upgrade their village at the Village Square. However, each village level will require other resources in order to upgrade.
To summarize: The greater the variety and quantity of structures you create (including walls, workbenches, and decorations), the higher your village rating will increase. Once this rating reaches the threshold for leveling up your village, the Village Square will radiate a golden glow, indicating it’s time to upgrade your village.
