iLLANG is the newest addition to the social deduction genre, and it looks like it’s going to be the perfect game to play on the Nintendo Switch or other consoles. However, is there even going to be a way to do this?
Can You Play iLLANG on Consoles?
According to the official iLLANG webpage, the game will launch on Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS in February 2024, with official releases on PC and consoles like the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 shortly after. There is currently no confirmed release date for these other systems, but we can only assume that it should be within a few months of its initial release.
Since the game uses a cutesy art style, it’s not going to be very graphically intensive on any console that you choose to play it on, making it a perfect fit for portable consoles like the Nintendo Switch. As long as we get a solid 30fps, then it should make this social dedication simulator all the more exciting to play. I’m not exactly a fan of touch controls, so any option to play it with a physical controller is automatically more appealing to me, and I know I’m not alone on that end.
iLLANG seems to be trying to push games like Among Us to a new level by including mini-games that you can partake in, alongside social elements that make it feel almost more like a simulator than a deduction game and looks adorable to boot. I’m excited to jump in and see what the fuss is about when it finally releases and if I can find out who in my friend group will be the best Illang of them all.
