Being a Mage is appealing to many RPG players, and if you intend to be a Mage, you will eventually run out of staff ammo, better known as staff charges. Here’s how to craft more staff charges and replenish your staff ammo.
How to Get More Staff Charges in Enshrouded
There are two ways to get more staff charges in Enshrouded. One is to find them in the wild, and the other is to craft them yourself. Of course, both ways are feasible, but you will probably rely more on crafting staff charges on your own.
Where to Find Staff Charges in Enshrouded
Staff Charges in Enshrouded can be found at random within containers (most commonly in crates and chests). However, the drop rate does not make it feasible for you to have this method as the only way of getting staff charges, in my opinion. The luck factor is never something you should rely on in RPGs. This is why we’ll visit a friend in-game.
How to Craft Staff Charges in Enshrouded
Balthazar the Alchemist is the go-to character for crafting Staff Charges in Enshrouded. Because different charges are the requirements for different spells, obtaining Staff Charges by crafting them at Balthazar, the Alchemist, is the better option.
It is always better to pick what you want to craft instead of relying on random chances of getting the staff charge you need from a container loot. Here’s an example of Chain Lightning that’s powerful on paper but probably not very economical. So far, I’ve found that the most cost-effective spell is a plain ol’ Fireball.
Balthazar the Alchemist will show you the recipes for all available Staff Charges, and of course, nothing is keeping you from carrying multiple different Staff Charges and switching them on the go, depending on the situation. The only common “ammo” these Staff Charges have is your Mana because all spells cost Mana.
Can You Increase Mana in Enshrouded?
Of course, you can increase Mana in Enshrouded! Many points on the skill tree provide additional Mana to you, so if you are an aspiring Mage, you will have many opportunities to bolster your magical prowess.
