We talked about some of the first details in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix a couple of weeks back, detailing the improvements that Square Enix has made to the core game, like cinemas from 358/2 and its playable follow-up Re: Chain of Memories. Now it was just a matter of seeing when it would release and now we know that too.
Square Enix has confirmed today that Kingdom Hearts will release on the PlayStation 3 on September 10th for the price of $39.99. That’s a few months away, but it’ll certainly be worth it when you revisit this magically combined world of Square and Disney.
The publisher is also offering a little bonus for those who pre-order the game in a limited edition art book that features a hardcover and numerous pieces from all three Kingdom Hearts games in 1.5 HD Remix. It’s looking like quite the collectible and the fact it’s free with pre-orders is even better.
Be sure to read our first impressions of HD Remix here and get on those pre-orders stat!
