Since its release earlier this summer, The Last of Us has drawn both sales success and critical acclaim, which isn’t a real surprise since it’s another Naughty Dog-developed masterpiece. Now it looks like the story is ready to continue.
During a Reddit Ask Me Anything session earlier this week, Naughty Dog confirmed that details for The Last of Us’ first downloadable content will be revealed later this month.
“New is on the way about the first DLC drop. Should hear about it this month,” said creative director Nick Druckmann. Although no specifics were provided about the content, we do know from previous information that story-based DLC will be included – possibly featuring the game’s main stars, Joel and Ellie – along with new multiplayer maps and characters.
The Last of Us is available now for PlayStation 3.
