Scorched Earth might seem like a hostile wasteland, but it’s absolutely teeming with life. You’ll practically be tripping over dinosaurs. But if you want a full list of each and every dinosaur in Ark Survival Ascended: Scorched Earth and their preferred food, look no farther.
To tame most dinosaurs, you’ll need to knock them out and insert their preferred food in their inventory. You can do this by pressing and holding the interact button on the dinosaur’s unconscious body. The best tools for knocking out a dinosaur are usually clubs, blunt weaponry, tranquilizers, or your own bare fists if you think you can go toe-to-toe with the creature. If you try putting in a food item that isn’t the preferred food for the dinosaur, its taming gauge won’t increase and it’ll be a wasted effort.
