The Star Wars Battlefront Supremacy multiplayer mode requires your team to hold and defend number of points on the map. To win you must hold all control points, which means you need to defend your control points while continually pushing forward and capturing any remaining control points.
Objectives:
- Capture enemy control points.
- Defend your currently held control points.
- Capture all available control points to win.
The goal of this mode is to capture the enemy control point in an attempt to push them back, while keeping your own defensive control point safe. If your team overtakes all the control points you win the round.
Supremacy begins with a single neutral control point in the center of the map. Your first objective is to take control of this central point. The team who takes this point pushes the opposing team back and a new control point appears. Think of this mode like a galactic game of tug-of-war. You must continue pushing the opposing team back until they have no room left to run and you’ve captured every control point.
The first thing you’ll want to do is have a good weapon. Mid to long-range blasters are ideal, like the T-21, as they give you a better chance at combat when enemies come a-knocking. In addition make sure you set up the Jump Pack, so you can move from point to point quickly, while at the same time avoiding enemy ambushes. It also helps your team to be at the ready on defense, so drop a few Infantry Turrets as well within the control point area, so they have additional firepower when they need it.
Finally, make sure to stay on the same board as your team. You’ll want to communicate to make sure all corners of your defensive points are in place, while at the same time pushing forward to take down an enemy’s control point. If the opposing team is invading one of your control points and you’re already bombarding one of their control points, you need to communicate in order to determine the best course of action. If you overtake the enemy’s control point before they take yours, it will lock out your control point so you win that small battle.
In a situation where both teams are invading their adversary’s control points, you need to determine if you can take the opposing team’s control point before they take yours, or if it would be more beneficial to retreat and defend your own control point. Communicate with anyone around your control point so you know how well the opposing team is doing, while keeping a close eye on your own progress.
It’s important to remain in close proximity to your teammates as well. If your team is too divided then you won’t be able to hold any control points against a united offensive from your rivals. A bulk of your team should be either defending or pushing forward, while a few scouts should determine what the enemy is doing and communicating back to your main force.
