There are a lot of secrets to find in Sea of Thieves and as you explore the different islands you’re bound to come across some interesting creatures, including things like snakes and even chickens. But if you’re completing missions for the Merchant Alliance, then you’ll probably end up wondering where you can find chickens in Sea of Thieves. The good news is, these clucky little creatures aren’t terribly hard to find, as long as you know where to start looking.
Where to Find Chickens in Sea of Thieves
Like other animals in Sea of Thieves, chickens have a specific set of islands that they seem to spawn on. This means you can usually rely on them to be on certain islands that you visit throughout your journey. Since there are quite a few islands throughout Sea of Thieves oceans, we’ve outlined the islands that we’ve spotted these feathered targets on.
Keep in mind that you may not always find chickens there, as we do not know the full extent of the game’s AI spawning system. But these are usually good places to look when you’re searching for chickens to pick up and take back to the Merchant Alliance.
Islands Where Chickens Spawn
Chickens have been known to spawn on:
- Barnacle Cay
- Chicken Isle,
- Crook’s Hollow
- Cannon Cove
- Marauder’s Arch
- Shipwreck Bay
- Thieves’ Haven
- Salty Sands
- Wanderer’s Refuge
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that the type of chicken that you’re looking for will be at the islands on the list above. The amount and type of chickens that spawn appear to be random, but this list should give you a good starting point for finding chickens in Sea of Thieves massive open world. We’ll be sure to update this article with the names of any additional islands we spot these sneaky little creatures exploring.
