Far Cry 5 borrows a bit from Ghost Recon Wildlands, but there’s one feature that feels like it’s missing, and a lot of players are probably wondering can you go prone in Far Cry 5? Don’t worry, we’ve got the answer for you right here, so read on to find out if you can prone in Far Cry 5.
Can You go Prone in Far Cry 5?
The lush landscapes of Hope County are perfect for hiding in the brush and waiting for your enemies to turn their backs, but if you really want down and dirty with the cultists, you’ll probably want to know how to go prone and slip up beside them through the long grass. Unfortunately, there isn’t a prone feature in Far Cry 5, so you’ll have to settle for crouching.
We’re not sure why Far Cry 5 doesn’t have a prone feature. The game borrows a few things from Ubisoft’s hit third-person shooter, Ghost Recon Wildlands, but the developers must not have felt that going prone was an important enough feature to move over. This isn’t a feature that has ever been in a Far Cry game to date, so it makes sense for the developers to leave it out, as it has never been a staple in the series in the first place.
There’s still plenty of ways to take your enemies out without raising suspicions, and learning how to get the compound bow is something you should do early on.
