September can’t come quick enough for fans of old-school isometric RPGs. Pathfinder: Kingmaker, the latest masterpiece from Deep Silver, finally has a release date. Thanks to the newest trailer, fans of the upcoming RPG now know exactly when they can expect to dive in and explore the world that the developers have crafted.
Having raised more than $900,000 on Kickstarter last year, Pathfinder: Kingmaker looked to bring the old-school pen and paper Pathfinder RPG to life in virtual form. Set in Pathfinder’s Stolen Lands, Pathfinder: Kingmaker follows the story of a newly made kingdom that players will shape in their own way as they try to build up the ‘graveyard of empires’ in the northeastern River Kingdoms. Can your kingdom stand the test of time and become worthy of the history books? That’s up to you.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker will be available on Steam and GOG with four completely different packages on hand. Players can pick up the base version of the game for just $40, or if they want to unlock more of the developer’s secrets and experience behind-the-scenes content, they can pick up the Imperial Edition of the game to get their hands on a slew of goodies like two additional characters, a digital artbook of the game’s artwork, and even a soundtrack so that they can enjoy the beauty of the game’s music without any interruptions.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker will release on September 25. You can also check out the latest Developer Diary on Steam to learn more about the game’s different companions and more.
