How to Get Into the Beta

Getting into the Soul Calibur 6 network test beta is the easy part. It’s an open beta, so all you have to do is download the beta client from the Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Network Store. That’s all there is to it. You don’t have to sign up for anything or even pre-order the game. Everyone who has access to the internet and a PlayStation 4 (no need for a PS+ subscription) or an Xbox One with Xbox Live can play in the Soul Calibur 6 network test beta.

How to Download the Beta

  • Search for, “Soul Calibur N”

The easiest way to find and download the beta on PSN and XBL is to simply search through the respective stores. There are other ways to find the beta, but if you go to the search option in either online shop and type in, “Soul Calibur N” you will see the Soul Calibur Network Test appear very high in the search results.

For most regions you can search through new arrivals or even the demo area depending on your store layout. However, searching for “Soul Calibur N” is guaranteed to give you the beta client in the search results. Once you download the beta you will have to wait until 8am PDT tomorrow morning before you can play. There’s no offline training mode or anything you can do with the beta client before it goes live.

Before the beta kicks off you may want to familiarize yourself with the controls for SC6, and even the new Reversal Edge mechanic. And if you’re trying to figure out when you can start playing the beta, you can find all that and more in our Soul Calibur 6 game hub!
