How to Fight in Red Dead Redemption 2
Before you can start up a fist fight in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’re going to need to make sure your hands are empty. You can do this by bringing up the Weapon Wheel and then looking for the fist symbol in the wheel. With your hands empty, you’re free to start up your fist fighting career.
If you’re playing on the PlayStation 4, then there are some basic commands you’ll want to keep in mind. First, your punch is going to be Circle. You can also block with Square, grapple your enemies with Triangle and break free of any grapples by tapping Circle.
If you’re playing the game on Xbox One then you’re need to learn the basic controls here. You can punch with B, block with X, grapple your enemies with Y and break free of enemy grapples by tapping B.
Those are the basic commands that you need to know when it comes to fist fighting in Red Dead Redemption 2. Keep in mind that earning yourself some combo hits is going to be key to taking down your enemies with your bare hands, so make sure you’re combining punches, grapples, and even blocks together to keep the movement fluid and constant.
