Fire Emblem Three Houses Gardening Combos Guide
So, what’s a gardening combo? Well, you may have already noticed if you’ve tinkered with the greenhouse in Fire Emblem Three Houses, but certain seeds being planted can result in particular crops that can be used as gifts. Sometimes, the results of seeds can give items that increase specific stats in characters when used. None of this is coincidence or entirely random, however. Yes, that’s right: you can game the system to an extent if you’re wanting items that will help you improve a specific stat, so long as you’re planting the right type of seed.
The ratio of seed planted to item obtained is, obviously, not 1 to 1 in terms of useful crops being generated. So, if you want the highest chance of getting a particular type of stat item, we would recommend ensuring that you’re only planting seeds of that type for that week in the greenhouse. Don’t spread yourself too thin. The more of a type of seed planted, the higher the incidence rate for useful items being populated. It’s a simple numbers game. Wanting to know what types of seeds yield particular stat improvement items? Here’s our current list:
- Green Flower Seeds — DEX increase
- Pale Blue Flower Seeds — SPD increase
- Purple Flower Seeds — STR increase
- Red Flower Seeds — HP or RES increase
- Root Vegetable Seeds — DEF increase
- White Flower Seeds — HP or CHA increase
- Yellow Flower Seeds — MAG increase
Now that you’ve got a handle on the gardening combos in the game, you’ll be much better positioned to take full advantage of the greenhouse and its goodies. Remember, actually getting those stat items to drop still involves luck so our advice would be to stay the course even if your harvests aren’t particularly bountiful at the start. It’ll all pay off!
