If you’re looking for something to kill time in-between the weapon grind in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, then you can’t go wrong with some bounties from Spider. Take a break from putting down enemies on the moon for a little bit and whip this one up. Here’s our Destiny 2 Blood Cleaver guide to ensuring that you give Spider a helping hand.
Destiny 2 Blood Cleaver Bounty Guide
First thing’s first is picking up the bounty from Spider. Like every other task involving him, you’ll want to nip over to the Tangled Shore. It’ll cost you 5 Ghost Fragments to pick it up, but you should be absolutely rolling in them at this point since they’re pretty easy to come by since kicking around the area will give you a fair supply so long as you’re completing activities. We definitely recommend doing it if you’re on the market for Powerful gear.
Checking the bounty in your inventory will provide you with a location to head to with a particular Lost Sector in mind. Once you get that and head over to the Lost Sector, you’ll find that you’ll be met with a particular status debuff – Suppressed – which lets you melee only. This is going to come into play later on because the big bad that you have to kill will be inside a dome that has this effect.
Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to make sure that you destroy the object controlling the dome. If you’re able to do this, then you’ll have the opportunity to kill Blood Cleaver. Your ability to do this will be dependent on you balancing periods with and without the Suppressed Status. After you’ve destroyed the object, turn your focus to the adds that spawn around you. Killing them and the turrets that are now firing at you will reward you with a Scorpius Core, which you have to deploy in the middle of the dome before you can kill Blood Cleaver.
It’s not all that complicated – focus on the object in the dome, then adds until you get the Scorpius Core, then back on the boss. It should be an easy crack for those who have geared up.
