All Confirmed Animal Crossing: New Horizons Events On the Way

From the Earth Day celebration called Nature Day to the May Day Tour and a special wedding surprise, there is a ton of content on the way for New Horizons players! A few returning faces are also on the way in addition to the revival of Leif’s Garden Shop, the Black Market with Jolly Redd, and a “familiar face” on a mysterious island thanks to the May Day Tour event.

You can check out everything that is on the way with the video at the bottom of this article as well as our previous coverage here. That being said, let’s breakdown exactly which events are confirmed thus far for the months ahead:

Nature Day

April 23 – May 4

Special Nook Miles challenges will appear to inspire nature-themed gameplay and rewards for planting trees and gardening.

May Day Tour

May 1 – 7

A one-time May Day Ticket will be issued for players to fly to a brand new island for a mysterious new tour where a “special visitor that looks familiar” awaits.

International Museum Day

May 18 – 31

A Stamp Rally will award players with a special stamp card where they can collect stamps while viewing fish, fossils, and insects thanks to various museum exhibits found in-game for a unique reward.

Wedding Season

June 1 – 30

Players will be able to visit Harvey’s Island to meet the married couple Reese and Cyrus. Players will be tasked with helping to take special anniversary photos for them with wedding-themed tokens as a reward.

Additionally, Jolly Redd will be returning with his notorious Black Market where players can buy artwork but be warned: not all of the artwork is legit so be wary of fakes when looking for beautiful new pieces to hang up in the newly arriving art section of your island’s museum.

What’s the most exciting about Nature Day isn’t necessarily the rewards because some fans have mentioned they feel a little underwhelming. That being said, it is the return of everyone’s favorite sloth, Leif, which brings even more familiar faces back in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

It’s important to note that there are even more events on the way, these are just the ones we have confirmation for. That being said, a recent leak, which accurately revealed all of the above, also mentions that the ability to cook in-game is on the way as well as diving for special fish breeds and seaweed.

With the continued spread of COVID-19, Animal Crossing: New Horizons couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s relaxing, it’s wholesome, and it’s exactly the sort of content the world needs right now.
