The world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons contains a plethora of creatures that players can encounter and catch for their collection or other uses. One creature that players will notice in the environment when they are making their way around their island is the yellow bird. This yellow bird has sparked plenty of curiosity throughout the community, considering whether or not players can catch this creature. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about if you can not catch this critter covered for you.
Can You Catch the Yellow Bird in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Now, players who were trying to see if they could catch this creature will be sad to hear that you cannot catch it like you would one of the many fish or bugs that are available for players to run into and catch. The yellow bird will make a clean getaway and fly away when you try and get close to this creature, so there is no hope of you getting your hands on it.
However, the purpose of this creature is to alert you by being a unique notification alert. You will find that it will land on top of the message board that is located near the Resident Services building. When you see this creature on top of the Resident Services message board, it means that you have an unread message on the Resident Services message board, which means you should check it out and see what valuable information is waiting for you to be read. These messages will consist of information relating to heads up for future events like the fishing tournaments that take place on the island, so you will not be disappointed to see what the messages that the yellow bird is alerting you to contains.
