How to Redeem Codes in Genshin Impact
In order to use most promo codes you have to get your account to Adventure Rank 10, which is kind of your overall level. Some codes can be redeemed earlier, but those are exceptions. From there you need to go to a specific page on the official website, which you can access just by clicking this link. You’ll need your account’s “nickname,” as well as the promo code itself. Enter that information, and you should receive the goodies in your inbox in the game. You can also redeem codes in-game by booting up the Settings menu, navigating to Account then Redeem Code.
You need a Hoyoverse account in order to access things like promo codes and cross-progression, which is crucial especially if you’re playing on a PlayStation platform. These features weren’t originally supported by Sony’s console family when Genshin Impact launched, but now everything talks to each other through these accounts. Since it’s all done through the “Hoyoverse,” you don’t really have to worry about platform specifics as long as you have your account all set up properly.
Whether you’re playing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC or mobile, you can swap between platforms on the fly and redeem promotional codes.
