In order to get Saltpeter you’ll need to have a Flint Pickaxe or better, which is obtained by doing the early tutorial missions in your starting location. Once you have the pickaxe you’ll be able to mine boulders and different Ore.
Saltpeter is another resource that can be mined and is mainly found within caves. Below we have some caves near the starting areas that house plenty of Saltpeter to mine.

- Inkwell Cave
- Scratchrock Burrow
Monarch’s Bluff
