It’s been a long time since a fully-fledged PC/console Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was released (even though our four beloved Ninja Turtles have made guest appearances in at least half a dozen titles), and the wait is finally over! On June 16th, 2022, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge will be released on Windows (Steam and Xbox Game Pass), Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game features six-player online multiplayer and a four-player local (couch) co-op multiplayer mode.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Radical Edition will be available for pre-order until Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 11:59 PM EST, so make sure to place your order before then. It’s also worth noting that it is expected that the shipping of the products will begin around 8-9 months after the pre-release period ends (per the official page), which is approximately March/April 2023. so all purchasers are to be armed with loads of patience. But is it worth buying?

We do not have much info on this but we are certain it will live up to the name of TMNT - Mini Arcade Cabinet Replica/ Movie Viewer, Plays the Game’s Trailer (Plays Video and Sound Only)

A pretty standard item for a collection like this. We presume that they would have placed the Vinyl version of this, but due to the size of a record and its fragility, it just was not feasible. You would need to order the Vinyl OST for this game separately. - Art Booklet (Inside the Standard Game Case)
A small book containing TMNT art, nothing specific we can say about this. - Retro VHS Sleeve With VHS Tape Box (sized to store the game and SteelBook)
We feel that this will be the selling point for many retro fans who have TMNT cartoon episodes on VHS in their precious collection. Nostalgia, nostalgia… - Full-Length Strategy Guide
A very cool and retro thing to have because, back in the day, without the modern internet, physical guides were the only guides that were available (Prima Games used to provide a lot of them as well). We’ll see to it to write our own guides for anything that the stock guide misses out on, so make sure to stay tuned and bookmark our game page. - 18″ x 24″ Poster (45cm x 60cm)
Back in the 90s and early 00s posters were THE thing to have in your bedroom on your walls, door, and cabinets. The poster which we are seeing is quite lit and contains expanded game cover art. - 3D Shadow Box
So far we don’t know more about this product part, but again, we hope that it will live up to the name of TMNT - Exclusive reissue of the original retro Shredder action figure with cartoon-accurate colors from Playmates
If the VHS and other parts of this package didn’t sell the Radical Edition to you, this one certainly will. We predict that there’s going to be a lot of reselling activity going on with this piece. - Sprite Stickers
We see that 6 stickers are coming, for each of the (playable) characters: April O’Neil, Splinter, Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. Not everyone likes these but we feel that they’re a great addition to a PC case, laptop cover, or maybe even on a car! - Free Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza Coupon
Ok, that’s it, we’re definitely sold. Wrap it up. We really get to eat Pizza like they do in the cartoon? We’ll just need to lift a sewer lid somewhere in the city and jump in for the full show immersion to kick in. Jokes aside, this is a great gesture and we’re calling it now, some people won’t even spend it and will probably laminate it for preservation purposes, and eventually, it will be more worth on the secondary market than the pizza you are eligible to get by spending this coupon.
After looking through what this package has to offer our verdict is that, yes, the Radical Edition is worth buying. If you’re a long-time fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, don’t miss it!
