MultiVersus, the Warner Brothers platform fighter that mashes together many different WB properties, has a lot going on. Whether you’re spinning as Taz, dunking on your enemies as LeBron, or flying through the air as Superman, you’ll need some serious skill to win each match. While duos are the recommended game mode, it begs the question, does MultiVersus have voice chat? We have the answer for you below.
Does Multiversus Have Voice Chat? – Answered
With MultiVersus emphasizing team-based gameplay, you would figure they have voice or text chat in-game for players to utilize callouts and specific strategies. However, there is no voice chat in MultiVersus. If you want to communicate with your teammate, you will have to play with a friend and use a third-party voice chat software like Discord to communicate.
It’s not an ideal situation, but at least on console, you can just use the built-in party or private chat features native to each console (sorry Nintendo and PC).

Of course, you can also play the 1v1 mode, which will require far less talking as you don’t need to have a partner to talk strategy with. However, it is frustrating there are no in-game systems to help you and your teammates facilitate more significant plays using the different support and tank characters to their advantage.
MultiVersus may eventually get voice chat, but as it stands right now, that game does not have it. This doesn’t mean it can’t come in a future update if fans request it. If this happens, we will update this guide accordingly.
Well, that’s everything you need to know about if MultiVersus has voice chat. If you’re experiencing server problems, be sure to check out how to see if the servers are down.
MultiVersus is free to play on console and PC.
