At its core, Two Point Campus is a game about helping students progress through their school lives and graduating with high grades and smiles on their faces. As you advance through the game, you’ll encounter various obstacles that negatively affect your students, such as illnesses, assignments, and weather changes. One example you’ll find early on are bookworms, which periodically appear around your campus. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to understand what bookworms are in Two Point Campus.
What Are Bookworms in Two Point Campus?
In Two Point Campus, bookworms are small worms that occasionally appear around your school. While their color varies slightly, their general appearance stays the same, and, often, they’ll wear sunglasses. Usually spawning outside, they’ll pop out from the ground for a few seconds before jumping back below the surface. They’ll repeat this gesture a few times before disappearing for some time. If you click or select the bookworm before it disappears, you’ll stop it from spawning and gain a small reward. Typically, you’ll receive either a few Kudosh or some money.
The rate at which the bookworms spawn, jump up, and dive back into the ground does not scale with game speed. This means that regardless of whether you speed up or pause the game, the worm will continue its actions at the same pace without stopping or going faster. While this means you have to stay on your toes to catch it, you can also prevent yourself from getting overwhelmed by pausing your game and waiting for the bookworm to appear before clicking it. That way, you can then unpause your run and continue as usual.

You may also find your students infected with bookworms as you progress through the game. While library activity causes this rather than the worms, you may find them pop out of the ground more frequently if several students are ill. Furthermore, while you can cure this disease with a medical room, it may create queues if other students are sick, especially as you discover more ailments.
