There are plenty of challenges to take on in the Mythic Blade event, and some of the rewards may be locked behind the weekend ticket. However, the Boxing Pokémon is entirely free to catch and Trainers can already start pursuing the next entry in their Pokédex. We’ll go over how you can catch a Crabrawler and how you can evolve it into a Crabominable within our guide.

Pokémon GO – How to Catch Crabrawler & Crabominable

Starting on December 6, Trainers can start catching Crabrawler throughout the wild. Catching the Boxing Pokémon is as easy as walking around your area or checking out the spawns at a PokéStop. You’ll be able to see the silhouette of the fighting crab when one is in your general area, so locating one won’t be too difficult.

Any time you do encounter a Crabrawler, make sure to catch it and use a Pinap Berry if you have some. Using Incense Lures or Lure Modules is a great way to increase the spawn rate while the Mythic Blade event is live in Pokémon GO. However, there is no rush to get your candy because Crabrawler will eventually return after the event ends.

In order to evolve the Boxing Pokémon into Crabominable, you’ll need at least 50 candies. There are only two forms of this Pokémon, so there is no need to collect 125 candies overall. But there’s one additional step in this case if you want the Wooly Crab Pokémon. Once you have enough candy, use a Glacial Lure Module at a PokéStop. If you’re in the vicinity of the lure, the option to evolve your Crabrawler will be available.
