Super Mario Odyssey Quick Tips
There are a lot of secrets and hidden items that you won’t see on the ground, and the only thing that will give away their position are the shadows on the ground. Be sure to look out for shadows that seem out of place, or even weird looking areas in the world to find all of the hidden collectibles in the game.
Make sure you capture enemies and other creatures and experiment with the abilities that become available through capturing them. This will allow you to reach new areas and hidden alcoves that you wouldn’t be able to explore otherwise.
Be sure and return to kingdoms you’ve already beat, as you’ll be able to collect more Power Moons and new areas will have opened up, allowing you to explore even more.
You can change Mario’s outfit by purchasing new outfits from the merchant after you revisit a kingdom. While the outfits don’t do much in terms of abilities or new powers, they will allow you to change up your look, which is a nice feature we haven’t seen in Mario games before.
Take your time completing the game, as you’ll want to explore every nook and cranny, and look out for different collectibles and hidden items lying around.
