Glitches in online games are nothing new but they aren’t all game-breaking, sometimes they are downright hilarious! Case and point? This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare glitch that turned a weapon into a … well, a very good boy! That’s right, loadout for a puppers is engaged!
Redditor ‘Batmanmanbat92’ took to the forums to share a clip of one of the oddest glitches seen in-game. Who’s a good boy? This AX-50, apparently because the below video showcases a hilarious new glitch has been spotted that turns a gun into a dog in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

While Warzone has its fair share of issues, the studio behind the free-to-play battle royale game have been quick to make the adjustments needed in an ongoing effort to keep the title’s integrity in-tact. While a gun shouldn’t be turning into a dog, this is one of those happy accidents that makes us kind of wish it doesn’t ever get patched, though we’re sure the player probably feels differently.
As seen in the clip above, the player when down and had the AX-50 Sniper Rifle as their active loadout. In order to recreate this particular glitch, you need to be downed and have this weapon equipped. The above player got taken out and in a surprise of the most adorable variety, his sniper was then replaced with a dog. While cute, he was kind of useless since it was just a code swap and not a functional puppers that can give all the kisses and cuddles. Er, we mean that can help in a firefight.
The dog shouldn’t be too surprising, especially since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players can get canine companions in-game, but the manner of appearance makes this glitch something to treasure.
More than likely, the issue will be patched up with the weekly updates alongside a few other bugs players have come across: infinite loading times, being launched out into basically outer space, sudden drops from matches. So if you like it and want to replicate the goodest of good boys, you’re going to want to do so now! Remember, you need the AX-50 equipped and you need to let yourself be downed. You know, no big.
