It’s been a long time coming but the Half-Life Source remake Black Mesa is here and it is slaying the Steam charts. People love their Half-Life and with many not being able to partake in the latest adventure due to the VR limitation, the Black Mesa addition makes it an easy win in terms of player enjoyment.
Black Mesa’s reviews have been Overwhelmingly Positive on Valve’s Steam platform and for good reason. Black Mesa takes what so many loved about the original game and made it even better with updates and overhauls meant to bring it into this generation of gaming.
Players once again assume the role of the theoretical physicist Gordan Freeman as he fights his way to safety and freedom after a terrible Black Mesa experiment goes dreadfully wrong. What’s worse than having to fight through an alien invasion? Fighting through an alien invasion and fighting through a trigger-happy military clean-up crew at the same time. It’s up to you to save the world, you know – no pressure or anything.
