Last winter, some of us gambled that Rockstar would bring Grand Theft Auto 5 to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. This meant selling our Xbox 360 and PS3 copies of the game and basically crossing our fingers that it would happen, which it will later this fall. Considering the decent number of pre-owned copies in stores, we suspect plenty of other gamers made the same bet.
With a shocking visual upgrade that adds greater draw distances and more traffic to the already cluttered highways, GTA 5 next-gen promises to be one of the biggest games this holiday season. Thing is, if you sold last year’s version (regardless of whether you beat it or not), there’s a great chance you missed a variety of hidden collectibles and features. With that in mind, here’s a quick look at the cool things you need to find and do.
GTA 5 Cheats
Granted, using cheats to beat Grand Theft Auto 5 is, well, cheating, but it’s hard to ignore all the benefits that come from these codes during gameplay. Spawn a Buzzard Attack Helicopter and pummel enemies with rockets, instantly obtain a Give Parachute while in the air or load Explosive Rounds to gain the edge in a gunfight. You can even goof around with the Drunk cheat and change the weather; perhaps the best GTA 5 cheat is the one that lowers your wanted level. Regardless of which one is your favorite, you probably didn’t take full advantage of these codes the first time around.
Here’s a list of the cool GTA 5 cheats.
Finding All 50 Spaceship Parts
Yup, Rockstar scattered 50 of these UFO parts throughout Los Santos and Blaine County. Finding them all will take some time, but the reward is well worth the trouble. In addition to exploring every corner of the game and taking in the sights, you’ll unlock the Space Docker, a cool dune buggy that makes out of this world sounds. But first, you’ll need to beat the Fame or Shame Mission and then visit Omega the Hippie. Far out, dude!
GTA 5 Hunting Challenges
Trevor is one of the best characters in GTA 5. The beer-drinking, foul-mouthed criminal isn’t afraid to enjoy his favorite pastimes, hunting being one activity. Meet up with Cletus in Blaine County and earn rewards for sniping boar, elk and coyotes. Just be careful of mountain lions.

GTA 5 Stunt Jumps
Everyone makes insane vehicle jumps in Grand Theft Auto 5. Might as well put that big air to good use. Track down all 50 stunt jumps in the game to score the Show Off achievement or trophy, depending on your platform of choice. It’ll take some time to locate all of the ramps, but it makes stepping behind the wheel of the GTA 5 sports cars well worth it.
GTA 5 Submarine Parts
Finding collectibles on land is hard enough. For the submarine pieces, however, you’ll need to dive deep beneath the ocean depths. Sharks will make life somewhat difficult, but as long as you have a mini-sub, snagging all 30 should be lots of fun. You’ll need to begin the Death at Sea mission to get them all.
GTA Online
Considering GTA 5’s online multiplayer mode arrived a couple of weeks after the game hit store shelves, perhaps you didn’t get the chance to check it out. That’s a shame, since you missed out on owning a cool apartment, a garage full of vehicles and the senseless violence that takes place in the game 24/7. Maybe it’s best that you never played it, since Rockstar released a few DLC packs, and heists are still on the way.
Now find out how to make lots of money in GTA 5.
