Are you going to PAX East? Like seeing all the goofy shenanigans we get up to sometimes here at Prima with our jokes and not-so-subtle innuendos? Particularly regarding BioWare IPs? Well, boy, then you’re in luck because Prima is hosting a panel with our Editor in Chief (hi, it me!) on February 28th and we’d love to see you there!
So what’s the panel, you may be asking? Gosh golly, I’m happy you asked, little Timmy! The panel’s called “All is Fair in Love and BioWare” and the whole purpose is to geek tf out with each other and with fellow fans! BioWare titles, especially so in Mass Effect and Dragon Age, have such an incredible ability to make you fall in love with their characters. They don’t feel like fictional characters, they feel like family, and sometimes that family gets a little NSFW when you start talking about the in-game romances.
I will defend Fenris until I die.
So what our panel is about is we are deep-diving into the various romances seen throughout BioWare IPs (Dorian stans, rise up!) and talking about how they are much more than just smutty fan service. They impact the stories we experience significantly and are a vital part of why these adventures stick with us long after the endgame credits roll.
We’re also going to be talking about some of the less popular romance options (looking at you, Anders and Kaidan) and giving odes to the forgotten booty calls. Oh, and we’re totally battling it out to see WHO is the ULTIMATE LI in BioWare games. There will be blood. Or at least excited squealing, and we want you to be a part of it!
