Ebay and HyperX are teaming up for an epic charity stream this weekend with Gamers Outreach and the festivities will host a ton of well-known streamers known for their positive impact in the gaming community. The collaboration with Gamers Outreach will raise money for children in hospitals with a five-hour stream kicking off tomorrow.
The festivities begin on December 14th at 2 PM PT with celebrity streamers taking on challenges in League of Legends, Overcooked, and Minecraft.
“We are excited to partner with eBay and Gamers Outreach to bring together talented streamers for a charitable afternoon of gaming,” said Stephanie Winkler, strategic marketing manager, HyperX. “It is our goal to help raise funds to support gaming kiosks in hospitals for children, bringing them happiness as they cope with long-term medical treatments.”
The event itself will be hosted in Los Angeles and viewers from home can stay up-to-date on what’s happening, while also donating (think of the kids!), through the official HyperX Twitch channel. For those that want to do even more, shoppers can use this eBay link to peruse charity items from December 13th at 4 PM PT – December 18th at the same time. There are autographed goodies, PC gaming gear, peripherals, and so much more.
As for which streamers the line-up includes:
- Pokimane
- Fedmyster
- Valkyrae
- Disguised Toast
- Sonii
“eBay has long had a close relationship with the gaming community as a destination for everything from PC to console, and it’s only natural that we come together and turn our enthusiasm into support for a worthy cause,” said Sam Bright, VP and General Manager of Merchandising at eBay. “Alongside HyperX, Gamers Outreach and these leading streamers, we’ll harness the power of gamers everywhere to bring joy to children that need it most.”
