Topgolf made a huge splash in the esports scene when they put lavish lounges in many of their entertainment venues. To celebrate gaming and the players that make it so wonderful, there was a recent Gears 5 event held in Charlotte, North Carolina sponsored by Voodoo Ranger and HyperX.

Michael Butterworth, Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall, Brad ‘Wuskin’ Marshall, and Dylan Henderson were among the London Ravens members to join in on the celebration. Given that they announced their big reveal earlier this year about their plan to conquer the Call of Duty World League, this London-based team has a lot to celebrate.

For those that may not know, the Topgolf esports venues offer a full-service restaurant and bar, over 200 HDTVs, free WiFi, a stunning rooftop terrace that hosts a fire pit, and a gaming lounge specifically meant to highlight the best of the videogame and esports community.

One of the biggest games played during the Charlotte event earlier this week on November 20th included Gears 5, the latest Xbox One exclusive that may not have a firepit, but it does have epic lancer guns.

The intimate gaming event was all made possible due to an incredible sponsorship team that included Voodoo Ranger from New Belgium and HyperX, a company known for their premium gaming peripherals.

London Ravens player ‘Skrapz’ shared a small look inside of the venue where players were able to order food and drinks while enjoying a game of golf in between shooting each other in the face in-game. The Charlette location is one of many that Topgolf offers, you can learn more7 through the official Topgolf website right here to learn more about a location near you.
