SDCC 2019 may be over, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t still more to see. The entire The Witcher Netflix series panel is now available for all to see, offering fans an up close and personal look at the cast and what the prequel vision of the books looks like for the road ahead.
With a tagline of “The Witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts,” fans are even more hyped than before after the incredible footage seen at SDCC! Seeing Cavill actually look like Geralt was a huge plus and the younger Ciri? Perfection.
The upcoming show stars Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill as the main protagonist himself, alongside Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold. The author of the books himself is also on board with the project, working as the creative consultant for Hissrich’s vision.
You can learn even more about the upcoming show with our previous coverage here, including why the series will “never, ever” adapt the games.
