Last year’s Call of Duty Championship tournament turned out to be a big success for Microsoft and Activision – so, to hardly anyone’s surprise, they’ve decided to do it again.
The companies have announced, in compliance with Major League Gaming, that the second annual Call of Duty Championship tournament will take place from March 28th through the 30th, with 32 teams taking part to win over $1 million in prizes.
This time around, the action will move to the Xbox One, where players will compete in Call of Duty: Ghosts to see who’s the best around. The tournament will be streamed live through both Xbox One and MLG.tv.
Qualifying rounds will kick off this February through the Xbox 360, and then the finals will move up to the new console. More details can be found over on MLG’s main page, including rules, available maps and tournament modes.
Best of luck to all who take part!
