“Yo dawg, I heard you like dragon shouts. So Bethesda put Kinect support in your Skyrim so you can dragon shout, while you dragon shout!” as one commenter on the Bethesda Blog put it.
In other words: Skyrim is getting Kinect support for the Xbox 360 today.
There are a massive 200 commands listed by Bethesda, which we’ve helpfully provided in the manual below.
By enabling Kinect, you can speak in English or the Dragon Language. Cry “Zul Mey Gut” or “Throw Voice” at your Kinect and your onscreen character will comply. Speaking in Dragon Language does require a bumper button to be held down, though English does not.
Brilliantly, the feature isn’t just limited to Shouts; access the various menus, assign hotkeys and favorites, command your followers, call up the map, pause, quick save, quick load and more.
French, Italian, German and Spanish updates are currently still in testing. “We’ll share those dates as soon we know them,” Bethesda has said.
